Bicycle built for 2: HydroCarbonJohn & Professor Lucy

July 2013- Le Bike de deux

Thank you Tex Perkins for bringing H.G. Wells into the picture!

While waiting for the Tardis to return ( using atomic  propulsion), we need to build a  hydrocarbon fuel cell powered travel machine for Professor Lucy and her Assistant Dr John.

Scoping Idea: We need to lower the centre of gravity, design from visibility and safety first,  and have some fun with a imaginative frame-builder. ......... Ewen Gellie

Hi John,
"carrying a dog on the front is no problem. There is a frame geometry that has been proven for that. This is the modern rack option. There is a whole renewal of appreciation of the proven practical older style bikes and there were some beautiful examples in a practical-appreciation way.

Arnaud's bike is top of the line! A bike with derailleur gears can't be beaten for cost. I can make one for approx $xplus. Internally geared hubs add the all-weather simplicity europeans love. Belt-drive eliminates the mess and wear of chain-drive. The Rohloff-internally-geared-hub adds another $1000 on top with its 14-speed precision german durability. Those bikes would be $y-plus."

Cheers, Ewen

something like this but to look like above Ewen!
